As an old school forum guy who’s been bootstrapping online communities for nearly 20 years, I was hesitant to pay someone else to set up Discourse for us—but I’m glad we did. Sure, we could have figured it all out for ourselves—but that’s time and effort, trial and error, and more than a few headaches. Jay had our dual-container Discourse install up and running in no time. Everything worked flawlessly, right out of the box. It was nice being able to jump straight to working IN the forum instead of working ON it. We’re still DIY for the most part, but it’s reassuring knowing we’ve got a reliable partner we can turn to when the chips are down.
